MAOHN President's Message (3-22-10)

Spring is officially here by the calendar anyway. My daffodils have poked up through the ground. The signs of spring are all around as evidenced by the birds chirping and the frogs singing their songs in the wetlands around my house.

We just had our spring Board meeting and are excited to be working on a balanced budget. We will continue to have challenges with the continued economic problems our nation and state face. As your board we look at this positively and will go forward with continued problem solving and the progressive vision of the board members.

I am excited to attend the first Symposium under the new management team at Dancy and Callahan. Our state conference will be Oct. 1st and Oct 2nd and will be a joint venture with the environmental and occupational health physicians (MOEMA). Plans are under way now with some very interesting topics that will be offered. More information on this will be posted to this website once details are finalized.

MAOHN Board Updates

Another season has arrived. Spring is bringing sunshine, longer daylight, green shoots. And with that, the MAOHN Board will be providing updates and reports after our Spring Board Meeting on March 20th. Please come back and visit us in about one week.
